Trapped at your computer and determined to finish your midterm paper, you race against the clock as it ticks towards midnight. Your focus is draining, and as it slips away, the world crowds in: drifting thought loops and intrusive thoughts that cloud your mental space, stubborn pop-up windows demanding clicks, and inexplicable urges to write about literally anything else. Finish on time, and never let your professor or fellow peers know what a mess you truly are; miss the deadline, and it's done-so for you, partner.
